good thing he didn't drop the gun... a guy i know shot himself in the head, the bullet went through BOTH eyes and he dropped the gun, couldn't finish the job cause he couldn't fine it again, it was a real mess. he died in the hospital from complications four days later.

HINT: the best way is to put the gun up to your eye socket and go from one side to the other... the over pressure going into the eye socket instead of off the side of your head will do as much or more than the bullet.

The first bullet went from below the lower jaw and through the front of his mouth (either he was a very determined man to do himself after all that pain and the skin burning from the gasses or he was struggling and his assassins couldn't get the angel right) the second was to the temple.

A Vietnam war buddy of mine did commit suicide several years ago, with a .22 rifle. He did in fact shoot himself twice in the head before achieving "success." Nevertheless, I'm dubious about claims of suicide when there was a second shot to the head.
