Police in San Diego are searching for a gunman who swiped a bag of poop from a woman out walking her dog. The woman told police that she was out walking her dog, Misty, on Monday night when a man in his 20s ran up behind her and grabbed the bag she was holding.

Misleading title. Although it's of little consequence in this case, the title of this article goes to show how the media likes to distort things- the title suggests him actually taking the poop and making off with it, whereas in reality he got rid of it and demanded money.

Anyone from the city knows the schtick. Someone tries to steal your pooper-scoop bag, you light it up, throw it on the ground and yell "fire". While the thief is trying to put it out and clean off his shoe, you run. Obviously, this woman was a non-smoker and didn't have her lighter available.
