Because Judge Greer refused to accept testimony of all those to the contrary. There have twice as many who filed affidavits that she IS mentally aware, nurses who worked with her, doctors, etc. There are video tapes of her responding to various people talking to her, etc. that the press isn't showing. The whole host of courts consist of something like 3 that have been petitioned 19 times with the same results over and over

I do not see it as a denial of her human right to life to simply allow nature to complete what really started 15 years ago.

It has never been proven that "nature" started this at any time. The only thing she's need to maintain life is food and water, as with each of us. She is not in a vegetative state from all indications. She still have brain function and is not brain dead.
