What I don't understand is why doesn't the Demos go after the Republicans in Florida, like Judge Greer and others.
The Democrats could have used this as a political vehicle to make people think they are the party that cares. However, they have behaved just the opposite. In fact, some have been totally ghouls about the situation.
MSNBC now has a so called expert who agrees with that ghoul Dr Ron Cranford. She doesn't even seem to appear to be human. Her eyes are flat as she LIES ABOUT TERRI'S MEDICAL CONDITION. She says Terri feels no pain. Her brain doesn't function and etc. I loath these people. How dare they repeat the words of a madman Doctor who spent only 45 minutes with Terri. The other doctor who supported Schiavo in court was only with Terri for 30 minutes. Why would Terri respond to a total strangers. Your words about Dr Ron Cranford was all correct. The creep has been on all the networks spewing his lies about Terri.
I feel so helpless listening to these disgusting experts of medicine LIE ABOUT TERRI. How on earth can Terri's family cope with all of this? I feel so bad for them. I can't say enough about how much I admire them. They have had to sit silently and listen to this type of thing in court for years. How awful.
These new bio-ethics doctors must be just like those in Germany who killed the handicapped. They are very scary. Watch their eyes. They have no soul. They don't even blink very often. I know I'm sounding like a nut, but it's true. As I type this, I'm shaking with horror over what is happening in this country.

What is happening to this country goes far beyond poor Terri, and the "people" you describe do appear to be soulless. Of course they have souls, everyone has a soul, but something has died in them - if it were ever there, such as when they were little children? - that is the spark of Divinity and "a good Conscience towards God".
In my post, I wrote that the class of people which includes George and Jeb and Bill Frist and Tom Delay and Dennis Hastert and Rick Santorum and Mel Martinez and Dr. Dave Weldon...you name them, all of them even on Terri's side who tried to do something, in my view genuinely does not yet "get it".
Should they have informed themselves better so they would "get it"? Of course. But they have not.
They are part of the system, they are advised by lawyers, and they are very, very busy with lots of agenda items.
