Contrary to predictions that Terri Schiavo's starvation death would be painless and dignified, an eyewitness who visited her hospice room early Saturday morning reports that she is now bleeding from the eyes and mouth.
Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" reported Saturday morning:
"Barbara Weller, who's is one of the attorneys for the Schindlers, says that the last time she checked in, not very many hours ago, Terri's eyes and tongue were bleeding now.
"Her eyes are sunken and her skin continues to flake off," Weller added.
On Thursday Terri's parents reported that their daughter now resembles "an Auschwitz victim."
At the request of Michael Schiavo's attorney, Judge George Greer has banned cameras and video equipment from her room, precluding the possibility that a photographic record of her deteriorating condition might be kept.
The eyewitness accounts stand in stark contrast to predictions from medical experts cited in numerous media reports who insisted that Terri's starvation death would not be gruesome.
On Wednesday, for instance, the Los Angles Times reported:
"Doctors say that going without food and water in the last weeks of life is not traumatic, and that the body is equipped to adjust to such conditions."
The paper quoted Dr. Perry G. Fine, vice president of medical affairs at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in Arlington, Va.
I wish someone could sneak in some kind of recording device. Those who wish this should not be spared the sight.

Disallowing replacement of the feeding tube in this woman is homicide. Critical facts in plain view must have time to be reviewed. This can be accomplished in 7 days. "
Evidence showing how Terri was fraudulently admitted into a hospice facility by Dr. Victor Gambone in April 2000, admitting in a 2002 evidentiary hearing Terri was placed in into a hospice because Michael Schiavo told him to do so;
Evidence how Victor Gambone and Medical Director William Moore had signed and written on Terri's chart in 4/11/2000 -- "based on the patient's diagnosis and current condition, I expect this patient has a limited life expectancy of (six) months or less, if disease continues to take its usual course, and hereby certify patient as eligible for hospice" ..Yet Terri was NOT and NEVER was terminal or diagnosed with any DISEASE giving her 6 months or less to live...
Despite Evidence that Terri's so called "wishes " were only hearsay and not written testimony of them by her estranged husband was never Admissible under Florida's evidence code under FS 90.602.
Despite the fact that Michael testified that he found Terri face down and rolled her over, yet Paramedics (according to St. Petersburg Police Report) found her face down.

I don't think there is any ruling against bringing in a recording device or camera. This needs to be ALL OVER the news. I'd like to see the masses turn against that scumbag husband and rogue judges in this case. I think the photos should do the trick. Then again, the masses in this country have become jaded toward gruesome images.
This is the end result of secular liberal humanism. Mass murderers on death row get treated 1000 times better.
No, they will use this, as I believe was their plan, to "move on" to lethal injection when they have decided someone must be killed on the grounds that starving and dehydrating them to death is just too "cruel".
I'll remember this when some liberal knocks on my door asking for money for starving children in Africa.
"Didn't the NY Times say that death by starvation was euphoric, peaceful and dignified? Why are you trying to interfere with this beautiful process?"
