This issue drives me crazy because I just don't know what the hell Bush is thinking on immigration. I just can't begin to make sense of it. Really, I understand the nutty perspectives of shrill leftists on various issues better.
To: Marine Inspector
Bush needs to stop trying to appease Vicente Fox. Earning browny points with the President of Mexico isn't going to get the Mexican gov't to aid in halting illegal immigration. I don't recall Mexico sending any troops to Iraq. Looks like we're gonna have to take care of illegal immigration without them too.

"
Extremists concern civilian border patrol:"
UPI by way of New Kerala 05MAR05
[World News]: TOMBSTONE, Ariz.,, March 5 : The leaders of a civilian group set to patrol the U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona have said they are concerned about white supremacists joining the effort.
Organizers said the Minuteman Project, set to patrol southern Arizona for undocumented immigrants next month, has attracted more than 700 volunteers, the Arizona Republic reported Saturday.
However, the organizers said they are concerned about interest expressed on white supremacist Web sites and chat rooms. An Aryan Nation site links directly to the Minuteman Project home page with the words: "A call for action on part of all Aryan soldiers."FBI spokeswoman Susan Herskovitz said the organization's plan to begin a month-long border patrol April 1 is "definitely a concern."
Project mastermind Jim Gilchrist said he is confident the group's efforts will be a "peaceful protest" by "patriots" who reject violence. He said he believes members will successfully weed out extremists.

President Bush has been viewed portrayed himself as a leader who places the national security of our country as the number one priority.
To: Marine Inspector
by using the term vigilantes when referring to the volunteersDid he really say that? Was that taped? If so, he should be pushed into an apology. What's the difference between these guys and Neigborhood Watch?
To: Northern Alliance
Yet, our volunteer US citizen contractors in Afghanistan and Iraq are expected to abide by a set of arcane regulations drafted by inside-the-beltway JAG officers prohibiting them from carrying firearms for protection. Our contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan should refuse to do any work there without an ability to defend themselves. It is suicidal madness inviting terrorists to kidnap and kill these workers.

Bush is a one world government proponent. Simple. He believes in no borders.

Last night at Boston's Logan Airport, 17 illegals, most from Brazil, were arrested. One was a juvenile, one was wanted on a deportation warrant. They were cleaning the airport, even in supposedly secure areas. This is ridiculous.

What if that Texas gas facility that blew up the other day had illegal workers....and some were Al Qaeda terrorists? Even if true, I suspect we'd never know. Or else it would be labeled 'tinfoil hat' conspiracy time.
