Police located 37-year-old Roger Paul Bentley in Johnson County this morning. He is in custody but has not been charged.

What is it with these guys with three names.

What is it with these guys with three names.

Most people have 3 names. I think the press likely uses all 3 to reduce the chance of some innocent 'Roger Bentley' getting strung up by a mob.

There are 6 people in my phone book with my first and last names, but there's only one (me) with my middle initial or name - and I have a fairly common last name.

IN Iowa, all police logs list first, middle and last. It's pretty standard here.

If you were a Roger *John* Bently in Iowa you would probably get why they use the full name.

I have three names. My fiance has three names. My parents and brothers and sister each have three names, as do all my nieces.
