I don't think a public park is a handout. Please read the rest of my posts, it wasn't about just a park.

I wonder how many actually have jobs at which they LABOR and GET TIRED so they'll need to REST instead of hanging out all night?

Please read the rest of my posts, it wasn't about just a park. I understand that. If the black citizens of Delray beach want a facility to "hang" out to party and have fun. They can build it or buy themselves.
As for the parks, if kids need a place to play, I say build it and if the drug pushers and pimps take it over, that's a community problem that the citizens themselves should handle. if they can't control they own neighborhood, shut the park down.
Then they can burn it down for a good reason

In my area they just put up a Jewish Community Center. West Bloomfield is one of the richest communities in the country so the Real Estate couldn't be cheap. Yet, they bought & paid for everything on there own ... no handouts or government grants. This is a minority that helps each other out instead of selling drugs or killing each other.

Since when is being polite considered appeasement.
I could have said several remarks that might be considered as racist, but I'll figure everybody else was doing such a fine job.

We don't want that scum up here. You take them into your neighborhood.

This is the new direction that affirmative action is taking. Check out the thread here about a story from the Austin newspaper where the City Council is going to fund a black nightclub for the same reason.

"We came here because there's nothing social for us to do,"
1. Get a bike and ride it.
2. Go for walks.
3. Go to clubs (assuming you're over 18).
4. Go on picnics.
5. Go jogging.
6. Go to the movies.
7. Start a gaming group.
8. Join a photography club.
9. Go to the museum.
10. Go to a flower/car/motorcycle/other show.
Talk about a lie. What they're really saying is that they want free handouts, and now that the Dems are out of power, the gravy train has stopped. Well, all I can say is, here's a pile of sand and a mallet. Get to work.
To: OXENinFLA
Sounds like they should set up a couple of festivities for these folks.
#1 A Christian revival tent.
#2 A jobs fair / education seminar.

There is a massive gap in their life if they actually have to complain about the need for being entertained.
