I personally for myself had to give up the right to anger...I give it to God, give him my rage and hurt and grief, then try to discern what he wants me to do...Satan is so good at turning righteous anger into self-righteous anger and to sin I cannot trust myself.
Lord, hear our prayer,
and let our cry come unto thee,
teach us your will,
show us the way we should go,
belp those who are most in need of your mercy.
In the name of Jeuss, Amen.
Thank you Knitting. I think this is what I am dealing with right now. I do not want to sin against God. I know that vengence is God's and He will repay evil. On the other hand, I do not think that we are to sit back and be passive with a " que sera sera" attitude either. Trying to find the balance here. Thanks for this thought.

Beautifully said. We have an obligation to pray for all sinners (including ourselves) to come to repentance and receive the forgiveness of Christ, which is the TRUE MIRACLE OF EASTER!
Exactly. God will instruct us what to DO. Jesus was busy doing God's work....He will instruct us what that is. But we are not to be "busy with anger," of that, I'm positive. Are we not God's light in the world of darkness and lies? This means TRUTH MUST BE TOLD. In Terri's case, that may continue to be our mission....until the "right" person, with a softened heart listens and hears....and we pray, acts on that truth.
