Er, no.
If I say that I am the rightful King of England, that does not mean that the line of succession is being "argued" in any meaningful sense, unless and until I present some credible reason to have the existing legal determinations in the matter set aside. That has no more been accomplished in this case than it has in my hypothetical example.
You seriously, realistically, think there is an equivalent between you declaring yourself the King of England and Terri's parents keeping her alive? That line of argument is not only sophistry, it's also totally insane. You pro-killing Terri people will say ANYTHING, won't you - just so long as she dies!
The wishes of Terri Schaivo are in dispute. Michael's status as guardian, particularly since he set himself up in another relationship, is questionable at best. In the presence of such dispute, the bias should be in favour of life, not the one who says she should die. You can hawk your Johnny Cochran impersonation and the following Chewbacca defence equivalent on some far more unsuspecting soul. That stupidity does not fly with me.

As the last appeal has been rejected, apparently you've got your pound of flesh, by the way. I hope you are bloody happy and satisfied with yourselves.
How many more cases of this kind will follow because people as asinine and blinkered as yourself refused to stand up for what was right and what was just. God only knows - I hope and pray that this kicks legislators in taking the necessary action to ensure this is the LAST time.
