Oh I can believe it, I expected nothing else. Almost every hand has turned against what is good and decent. The only chance Terri has is direct action by Jeb, by George or by the people in the streets.

Keep in mind that the DCF is the same agency that has been in the news so much for losing children assigned to them. They're not the best agency on the planet. Whether they will rescue Terri is by no means certain.

I think if the legislature had passed this bill, they might have done so. I doubt it now.

I firmly believe that's because they are misinformed about the case. The local TV news shows in my state (probably where most people get their news) have done an appalling bad job of reporting the facts. Some of it is typical journalistic laziness, and some of it, I think, is a liberal agenda.

Anyone else notice biased local news? (Foolish question.) The language reporters use is very telling. For instance, rather than say the fight is to allow Terri to live, they say her supporters wish to "prolong" her life. I've never heard "prolong" used except in a negative way. We prolong the bad, not the good.

And reporters note constantly that Terri is on "life support," conjuring in the public's mind that Terri needs help to even breathe. Reporters know the power of language. They know exactly what they're doing.

There is no doubt in my mind that we need divine intervention. Only good can come from saving Terri and with God's help, make some kind of modest recovery to show the "evil-doers" in this country, in our government (especially on the bench), the importance of protecting life.
