I do believe that the Dems have come up with a plan to save social security--euthanasia.

Michael Shiavo has been coopted by and joined wholly with the culture of death. He should have long ago been removed as Terri's guardian and someone less conflicted should have replaced him...like her parents.

Then Michael should be investigated thoroughly for crimes against Terri...all the way back to her original condition because I believe this is the key to the whole matter. That this is not occurring speaks to complicity and corruption far beyond Michael's.

As to the Judges...this latest Federal Judge decision which is making the desperate appeal to the 11th Circuit by Terri's parents necessary, is just another in a long line of aborations and corruption assiociated with Terri Shiavo. Where is it written down and notoriized...that her wishes are to die of starvation or thirst if in that position...which would violate her religious beliefs which, by all accounts, she was adamant about? It's not.

As to constitutionality of the latest decision, I say it's pure, unadulterated Bravo Sierra. This Judge could easily have ruled constitutionally that she had a right to life, which trumps all of the other legaleze and mumbo-jumbo being spouted by those who support having her killed.

Common sense has fled so many of our people, even our judges. When there is the least shred of evidence, doubt or disagreement in such a situation as this, particularly amongst direct family members who are willing to lovingly care for her...you ERR ON THE SIDE OF LIFE!

Anything short of this is an abject violation of the most fundamental principles upon which this Republic was founded.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are the right to life...

If we as a people cast that aside, if we allow it to be cast aside, then we tread a path that will lead to our ruin, our enslavement and our destruction as a soveriegn Republic and a nation founded upon liberty and the rule of law, that law being undergirded by fundamental moral principle.

Sadly, in this ruling and episode, as with many others of our day (ie. abortion) we are seeing exctly why Adams said this and are living out the negative of John Adams statement...right before our eyes. God bless those who are standing for life, against the culture of death. May the good Lord through His Spirit create a champion out of one of our leaders with the power and the courage and will and virture to take Terri into protective custody. May we as a people have the fortitude and the willingness, if neccessary, to stand boldly and resoultely on these principles against such conditions of our day.

If the media spent half the time and print saying how a fetus reacts when its brain is sucked out , or when it head is crushed by forceps ,and how a fetus reacts to music and other stimuli,as it is printing on Terri Schiavvo they would be saving not one person but thousands.

Huh. A profoundly brain-damaged woman who appears to have the ability to concentrate.

I'm not going to argue on whether she's in a vegetative state, but people in that state will appear to have such abilities. It's sort of "The light's on, but no one's home."

Michael Schiavo should have allowed independent tests done to determine whether she's in such a state. Not allowing such tests makes me question his motives more than anything else in this case.

It comes down to this:

I don't want to be a customer of a business that calls her condition "as good as dead, or worse."

What next? Carve her up for meat?

"Wakeful oblivion" is pretty much the state liberals are in all the time.

We're all in danger. All of us.

The reason why we're paying such close attention to this case is that we recognize it could be us instead, helpless in the hands of evil-doers. If Terri dies, there's no help forthcoming for us, either.

Nazis initiate use of gas vans to eliminate mental patients

The Nazis used poison gas to murder millions of human beings whom they deemed undesirable. One of several methods used was the gas van. Such vans were first deployed in 1940 in the “Euthanasia” operation. Hitler delegated the “Euthanasia” operation to Reichsleiter Philip Bouhler, Dr. Karl Brandt, and several doctors of their choice. The targets were several German population groups: the mentally ill or retarded, the chronically ill, and criminals. At first, the murders were carried out in fixed, sealed chambers, into which carbon monoxide gas was pumped from metal canisters. In addition, some were killed by lethal injections and by shooting. In 1940, an experiment using gas vans was conducted in Kochanowka, near Lodz, in the murder of mentally ill children.

Between 70,000-100,000 people were murdered in “Euthanasia” operations. Experts who became experienced with poison gas and mass murder in this program were later employed between 1941 and 1942 in the occupied eastern areas, where they engaged mainly in murdering Jews.

I watched these clips and all I could think of was my precious children and how as babies they were helpless and had to be fed mushy foods in order to survive foods not all that different than what Terri has been receiving. I'm deeply grieved not only for this woman, but also for our country. It is defining moment for us as a society. I pity our country. This woman is being murdered in broad daylight, plain and simple.

Whether or not Terri is in a vegetative state DOES NOT MATTER.

Starving someone to death is cruel and unusual wouldn't you agree? That makes it a federal issue.

8th amendment

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted"

This case just shows how far down the sewer the morals of this country has become.
