Why was a woman working at PLAYGIRL?
Isn't that a magazine for gay men?

Awww.... Michele Zip is the victim of liberal bigotry and intolerance. Welcome to the club.

I'd drop my subscription to Playgirl, except that I've never had one. Oh, well....

Gee, this only sounds a tad ILLEGAL.
For the heck of it, I'd file an EEOC complaint PDQ.

I also received a phone call from a leading official from Playgirl magazine, in which he stated with a laugh, "I wouldn't have hired you if I knew you were a Republican."Celebrate Diversity.

Wow. In the liberal world, certain forms of discrimination are just fine.

I've heard her interviewed and she's a very bright woman.

After underlings expressed their disinterest of working for an outed Republican editor...
Some editor. "Disinterest" means they don't care one way or the other, not the antipathy she intends.

Reminds me again that Nazi's and Communists were Socialisms bastard twins.

What about the writer Candace Bushnell of Sex and the City? She's a Republican. I thought talking frankly about casual sex would exempt one from The Backlash.
To: Babu
What I don't understand is if she really is a Republican why was she selling pornography? She is either a hypocrite or not a Republican.
Does anyone think she was on her way out at Playgirl when she went public with her political affiliations? If the magazine had a policy of not hiring Republicans they could have easily checked her voter registration prior to taking her on, but it didn't matter then, why would it matter now?
This story stinks.
