Greer gives order
Right. And if a patient is cognitive on a short video clip, they're not PVS even if there's a lot of video footage where they're not.
If someone claims they have a Rembrandt landscape, and hands me a Polaroid, I could not judge from such a photo whether it was real. But if the landscape included a McDonald's in the background, even a crummy photograph would be sufficient to declare the painting to be fake.
Likewise, video can't confirm a PVS diagnosis, but it can certainly refute one.
Do some reading at www.theempirejournal.com
Heard something on Savage and found it:

"....Greer is legally blind and cannot drive. While his condition doesn't hamper his abilities on the bench, colleagues and others said in interviews last week it gives him a perspective in dealing with the rights of the impaired few jurists have...."

We must tread lightly on this. Perhaps he can function properly as a judge. But, the caller on Savage doesn't think so.
Based on what the Savage caller said, Greer doesn't listen closely enough to compensate. I can certainly understand that. I remember better and comprehend better from reading, word search, etc.
Oh yes, we've known about his "vision" issue for awhile. Never stopped him from thinking he was omniscient.

The visuals were great. Follow along
I don't know for sure, but I do not think that Tom DeLay is Catholic. I think he is Baptist, but do not have the reference.
Rep. Tom DeLay, R Baptist
Yes, I found the reference under "Religious Affiliation of Congress," and it is the 1999 list.
I see the Grim, Grinning Reapers are in attendance, as usual.
I saw that freak saying that.
Did you hear the testimony of the nurse right afterwards about the man who'd had his tube removed and the intense suffering she witnessed?
Devils, all of them.
Michael on CNN with Larry King now.
An innocent woman is being starved to death and some find justification for this? So be it.
The rest of us will be spending the foreseeable future contacting our reps, fighting the press, and educating the public of the barbarism being committed here.
That scum attorney is being shown appealing to the soulless people in the Dem party. I'd love to get my hands on him.
Two liars talking lies to the other. Why would I want to torture myself by watching?
Michael blaming government, saying Terri is his whole life (grrrrrrrr). Wants everyone in Florida to call their legislators (he should be careful what he wishes for).
Segment over. I think Terri's sister is up next.
Hypothetical question;
What if her entire frontal lobe [the "master lobe" responsible for "who we are"/thought/comprehension/self-expression] were nothing but dead scar tissue and spinal fluid and there was absolutely no chance that it would ever "regenerate"?
Would you consider her "alive" or "brain dead"?
Congress needs to get their act together. Or just arrest that damn judge. And are WE are too civilized to revolt? All we do is talk about "law." It may be time to consider a little revolution to refresh democracy...
King went after him fairly well. I think Terri's sister is coming up. That puts her in the position of rebuttal, and Michael didn't come off well IMO. He came off really slimey, actually.
