If you have a narrow view of G_d, then yes. However, I see G_d everywhere and in everything.
Exactly why people shouldn't have a narrow view of what constitutes life. Logic looks at someone who can't express herself and says, "no life there". We know otherwise. Even with people who slip into comas and are aware of everything that is taking place in the room while unconcious.
