It is ... but when people are so lost they often don't know who to turn to and who they can trust. This guy knew he was done. He had nothing to lose and may have gained more than most people in those few hours. Allot of folks, not in jail, who haven't murdered people never find what I hope he found. If he gets the death sentence, he won't have to fear death now. Sounds like he made peace with God through this woman.

( now having said that, I do NOT advocate, him not paying for his crime.He needs to be tried, convicted and sentenced, and yes, that would include the DEATH penalty)......but God forgives the worst of criminals and she was reaching beyond herself.
I look at it this way. The Lord God is speaking to all, and those who walk around with dark minds, hearts, and souls, won't see His light or hear His message. In order for the Lord to get Brian's attention, He worked through Ashley.
Which is very sad, isn't it? A few simple, profoundly true sentences changed his heart. How would our society be different if children attended religious schools?
