The judge that heard my child support adjustment was a criminal judge.

I knew in the smaller circuits the same judge would do both criminal and civil, but I thought (apparently incorrectly) that the judges in Atlanta divided up the work. Since it has been reported on this thread that the judge was hearing a civil case at the time, it appears that Judge Barnes did both civil and criminal trials.
