"Terri's body is part of the investigation. Greer has ordered, at Schiavos insistence, that she'll be cremated immediately after her death. No funeral. That will effectively stop the investigation."
No, what it will stop is Terri's gravesite being made into a shrine, and Terri a martyr for your cause. Michael is smart to have her cremated so that this will not happen.

DCF told Judge Greer that it was destroying evidence.

I forgot to add that the court has ruled that Terri will be buried in Pa so she'll still have a grave. Cremation has nothing to do with it except that it destroys evidence.

Who cares if her grave becomes a shrine? She'd be dead! You mean she told her husband "I don't want a grave that will be a shrine..." ?

And what do you believe my cause to be?
