So, Bush, how many people who buy a new car immediately have to take it to a mechanic to make it safe to drive?

Practically every single one. Every dealer has a quality checklist that they go through before handing you the keys.

I said TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC AFTER BUYING... not before. It would be alright if the computer dealer did what you say the car dealer does... but the don't. THEY should install all of the free anti-malware stuff and have it running for the new owner... just as the new car dealer preps the car for the new owner.
