Are you arguing that there isn't a shift of personal focus on the part of God when he creates Earth, seas, light and day, animals and plants first in an almost a off hand sense of focus but when he creates man he does so with a much more direct sense of purpose?
I'm not studied in Hebrew, you would have to explain what "Jussive" tense is to me....but I think the translators did a fairly decent job in translating God's creative focus shift between the creating of the rest of the world and the creation of man!
The translators of the KJV did a good job for 1611, but it is not good enough for modern people. Too much science has occurred to think there were waters above waters and "firmaments".
We also know bats aren't birds and insects have six legs.
The Jussive tense is a third person imperative. Most of the passages you quoted are commands from God in this tense. "Let there be light" is a third person command. It means God said, "BE LIGHT!" and light "beed". ;-)
