Welcome to Britain. Prison is bad here. It could very well have been that Hamza ran into some of our more old fashioned criminals like East End gangsters, who don't take too kindly to terrorists.

Right after 9/11, some New York inmates donated money and worked to help with the cleanup. I'll never forget the quote, "We may be criminals, but we're Americans." Perhaps this is the British version.
