No one broke the law because "journalists" can get away with about anything.
No one lied? O.K., how about someone intentionally misled?
To: Valin
They took the better part of four months, spent several million dollars, some people say as much as $5 million, and came out with a reportAnd it took Buckhead, FReepers, and other sites 90 minutes to figure it out. LOL!

And another thing, when I say something which is untrue, it doesn't mean I'm telling a lie. I figure most people know that, but if its news to people, well, I'm in the News biz."

"I think the answer to that is yes, yes. Richard Thornburgh, former attorney general who was in the Nixon administration, says the bushes are good friends of his, both president one and two [B]ush. He headed the panel."
Amazing these liberals, being in the Nixon administration is now used to give independence and credibility.
What a bunch of lying losers these people are, interesting the OLD liberal ignored that Thornburgh lost a lawsuit to Carl Rove over Thornburgh's nonpayment of campaign services.
Thornburgh WORKED for CBS, they were his client. Wonder what kind of compensation Thronburgh collected?

WHAT a
load.
Letterman is a load too. But, then, that's New York, the lamestream media and the U.S. boobtube watchers who supports puerile Letterman.
Rather is yesterday's stale old bread. What goes around comes around. I remember Rather screaming at and insulting George Herbert Walker Bush, then v.p. I've detested Rather since then.
Nice to be around to see and read it when what goes around comes around.
To: Valin
Wow, he's still denying absolutely conclusive proof that they were typed up in Microsoft Word AND the criminal implications thereof. Not to mention that the report did NOT exonerate CBS of political bias, nor would it be credible if it did so since the report was paid for by CBS and has every appearance of a cover-up.

Oh, brother! Maybe we need an investigation of incompetent investigations?

This man is such a moron. You do not ask someone to prove a negative. Did Mr. Rather ever get an education? How did he get so far in this business? It's not anyone's job to prove it's fake. Everything is assumed to be fake. I'll send you pictures of Bill and Monica right now that I found on the internet. Are we to assume they're real because they exist, or do we verify. It is your job as a reporter to prove that it is real and make the case. You failed Dan. You cannot prove this document is real, therefore it is fake until proven otherwise.
This man will never get it. He should be committed with the idiot who beat him up screaming Kenneth's frequency.
To: Valin
they said that, although they had four months and millions of dollars, they could not demonstrate the documents were not authenticAll that time and money and they couldn't verify that Times New Roman wasn't available on the typewriters in use in the TANG in 1973? What exactly do these people spend these millions on?
oh.... uh... uh... he could have gone out and found a professional varia-typewriter to type the memos on. My butt. And even though that professional layout typewriter may have had Times, I'm pretty sure Times New Roman hadn't been designed yet.
