President Bush had some strong words to Syria to get out of Lebanon, noted here.
He and Vice President Cheney welcomed and congratulated the World Series Cham-peens, the Boston Red Sox, who ended a drought of Biblical proportions with their first World Series win in 86 years. With Speaker Hastert and Senator Stevens, he presented the Congressional Gold Medal to Jackie Robinson's widow, Rachel Robinson, in the name of her husband.
In Arnold, Maryland, the president participated in a job training and education dialogue, linked here.
Secretary of State Condi Rice attended a one-day London meeting, info here, to discuss Iran's nuclear life, the Palestinians, etc. She put off a planned trip to Canada next month, a move seen as a rebuff over Canada's rebuff of the North American missile shield.
Senator Kerry positioned himself obscenely close to the president at Bush's remarks honoring Jackie Robinson.
Other than that crude interruption, enjoy today's visit to Sanity Island.

CIGAR MAN!!! He and his confident smile were SO uplifting when the war had just gotten under day. This great guy ended up injured, and lost an eye .. brave and good man. Thank you for reminding me.

This is how I posted the above picture I posted:
I right click the photo and go down to properties .. which is the url address (usually ends in .jpg or .gif) of the picture and copy that whole address .. no matter how long it is.
I open the post space and type this BEFORE I paste the picture address -- WITHOUT the space in front of img:
< img src="picture address in here" followed right after by < /a> (ELIMINATING THE SPACE AFTER THE LEFT ARROW AND BEFORE THE SLASH)
If the picture is to be followed by text .. do the Paragraph direction which is: THE LEFT ARROW, THE LETTER P, AND THE RIGHT ARROW).
Not hard at all .. and here's a site that will let you see the directions more clearly: HTML BOOTCAMP
Good luck!

Thank you I was fascinated by how big the snow flakes were today they were the small powdery ones. Forecast is for a very cold night and possibly more now tomorrow though temperatures should get above freezing over the weekend so by Monday I expect the snow will be gone. Here is a funny/sweet story one of my bosses (The Finance Director) admitted to taking his dogs into his garden last night and building a snowman. That man will make one wonderful granddad by the way he is in his fifties.
