"Conservatives don't want gays to die; we just don't want to transform the Pentagon into the Office of Gay Studies."

Right you are Ann. Something else that comes to mind though. Recently, there has been alot of press about how the "don't ask don't tell" policy has hurt the military. So, the liberals draw the conclusion that we need to have openly gay military folks. The more logical approach would be that we go back to the way it was before Bill Clinton.

If you are homosexual, don't join the military - period. You ARE NOT suitable for military service, and we DON'T need you. This is a volunteer military. So, you don't have an excuse like "I was drafted." Don't join if you are homosexual, bisexual, or any other sexual deviate. In fact if you can't behave yourself sexually - even heterosexually - then don't join. We want and need stable individuals to man our military. We have seen the shame that even hetereosexual misconduct brings on the military - i.e. Lindy.
One of the finest militaries ever seen in history were the cavalry soldiers that Oliver Cromwell fielded - all of them Puritans.

We don't want Gays to die. That's why we don't promote homosexuality. We know it's dangerous. And we know by openly promoting it we will create homosexuals.

How many more homosexual men have to die because the left says that being Gay is just fine and dandy! It's not fine and dandy. These men are dying of Aids. And if they don't die of Aids it's something else. The average lifespan of a male homosexual is significantly shorter than the heteorsexual man. At LEAST by 10 years.

Conservatives DON'T Want GAYS TO DIE. That's why we don't promote it, or sugar coat it, or make it out to be something it's not. It's unhygienic and unsafe. And if the left felt the same way they wouldn't promote it.
