I stopped being interested in cable news directly after the election. It seems more and more they hype things that I don't think are that important.
On Fox News this morning, I saw more coverage of the Oscars (which hadn't even taken place yet!) than of things that ARE newsworthy, like the war...

As for the Oscars, I would rather watch water boil...at least boiling water can serve a purpose.

Oh I so know what you mean. It is not possible for me to be any less interested in the Hollyweirds or their "awards". Not possible, period.

But the weekend Fox crew was all over it. And tomorrow they will be all over the winners too. rolling eyes...

Don't you mean It is like watching paint dry.
I may see one or two movies a yr and they are either
made in England or France or Italy with sub titles.

I have seen several movies being made not by choice.
Many movies are made in San Diego and had to waite on location shots to walk by and the bldg. I worked in for many yrs has been used for many movies. Have had to walk
past Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, etc. They just get in the way. One day trying to get off the elevator, they said
hold it while a shot being done. I thought this is crap.
Seeing a movie being made is also like watching grass grow
and that also goes for the action shots.
