It has to be getting pretty embarrassing for sensible moderate Democrats.

Their caucus meets in a phone booth.

Actually, I would be delighted if the memo did come from Rove and Co. It would be the most brilliant political move ever: know your enemy (liberal media) and use their weakness (unadulterated, foaming at the mouth hatred for Bush) against them.

Black Helicopters Are Circling Your House, Congressman Hinchey!

Dagnabit, why'd you spill the beans? Now I've got to fly with the cloaking device on, and that thing messes up my inner ear. ("Perfectly safe," says the flight surgeon, but he won't go anywhere NEAR an operating cloaking device. Yeah, right, doc.)

Have you noticed that as more and more conservatives flee the state of New York, the politicians that the New York voters elect become more and more insane? Hinchey is a good example. Saw him on Hannity & Colmes, read about his interview with Judy Woodruff. He just gets more and more crazy. I can't imagine anyone votiing for this fool, yet the NY voters have actually put him in the Congress.

It sort of reminds you of the end of "Animal House" where the subtitles tell you that John Belushi's character goes on to become a United States Senator. All except for the fact that Hinchey is even wackier than that.

As the Northeast coordianator of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy I have 57 operatives watching Maurice every moment of every day. I'm awaiting the commands of our true and only leader the Great and All Powerful Rove.

I had the misfortune of hearing this deceitful monster spout his endless slanders on the radio yesterday. I thought for sure it was Big Chief Ward Churchill raving at first.

Actually, it's time for our spineless reps to demand an official senate investigation of CBS/rather/mapes..

I am over-tired off all the kangaroo investigations the dems have, ad infinitum, that ruin reputations and careers without foundation - while the lib rats get away with major crimes and no investigation because our side lets it slide.

"False papers", they were so obviously forged that no matter if Rove or anyone else created them, Dan Rather knew or should have known that they were fake. I would not continue to call them "forged". for a document to be forged it has to represent something that is legitimate. The documents that Rather used to influence a federal election were fake. So fake that I wager that if a jury of his peers were impaneled that they would have no problem convicting Rather of the crime.

Bush served honorably in the National Guard just as millions before him have served. He did not run away from his responsibilities. He volunteered to fly and not sit behind a desk somewhere on the ground. It is the pilots who put their lives on the line every time they fire up a jet engine. Flying a military fighter jet is not a walk in the park. Every minute in the air is dangerous and could result in instant death. I would not call any honorably discharged national guardsmen a draft dodger.

I think John Kerry was actually the organizer of the Swift Boat Vets so he could say the Republicans were being mean to him.

Takes one hell of a nerve for any Democrat to accuse a president who actually served in the military of being a "draft dodger" after electing a true draft dodger to the presidency, and now one to the head of the DNC. Why doesn't this mental case nitwit Hinchey talk about Howard Dean and his phony medical deferrment that got him out of Vietnam, one for a bad back? Meanwhile, Howard Dean was a regular on the ski slopes of Colorado with his "bad back." These are true draft dodgers, not a president who VOLUNTEERED to be a fighter pilot. But hey, keep foaming it up Hinchey. We look forward to taking your seat and a whole bunch more during the 06 mid-terms.

The 2 big stories here are:

1. Rather and his network ignored the very serious problems with Kerry's shady, (and possibly illicit), version of his military record in respect to Viet Nam.

2. Rather himself lied repeatedly about his own military record..........he claimed for years that he was once a Marine, but, he really washed out of boot camp.........can't be something you never were, Dan.

Apparently, these two stories have somehow gone over the head of the congressman.....how does the old saying go....swallow a camel and gag on a gnat?
