Your insinuation that Terri is being used as a prop by those who of us who are rooting for her life is unfounded. You may choose to believe as you wish, but I see Terri as a disabled sister, a child of God, and worthy of our collective efforts to help save her life. She may be disabled, as I understand you are, but she is NOT a prop. She is being used as a prop by the euthanasiasts who seek to expand their territory.

It is ludicrous to suggest that we who support Terri's life as meaningful are using her as a prop, when what we are trying to do is see to it that neither she nor any other human being are used as props. You seem to be suggesting that we are the ones who are exploiting Terri for our gain, when the only thing to gain is that another innocent life is not snuffed out before her time has expired.

Go ahead. Tell me that everybody on who claims to be on Terri Schiavo's side is of pure intentions. Just because I'm not towing the company line 100% here, I'm being mischaracterized as a euthanasiast. I don't have to produce my pedigree for the support of life to ANYBODY.
Regardless of the misrepresentation of my points of view, piss poor ones at that, I have maintained the following 3 points, staunchly:
1. There are more important things than life and would honorably be spent in protecting, freedom, human dignity, religious belief.
2. People see what they want to see. My remarks are based upon my multiple viewing of file footage of Terri Schiavo. There have been 650+ posts on this thread and it wasn't until now that someone made a comment that actually commented on her appearance. Her eyes following objects in the room.
Anyone who watched those file videos would see a sparkle in her eyes. The sparkle of life. The sparkle of awareness. No one has mentioned that? Am I to believe it has been noticed and noted on an earlier thread, all have accepted it as fact and I'm just late to the game? I don't think so.
3. The "professionals" involved in the case:
Doctors perform abortions, they don't care about human life except as a paycheck, their opinions are invalid.
Judges and attorneys, uh, 'nuf said.
Clergy? Yeah, a Catholic priest is going to say anything except her life should be kept, yada, yada, yada.
There are no honest brokers in the game. Why haven't any of her "supporters" kicked in $1.7 million in the past 15 years for this woman's rehab? I won't hold my breath waiting for one. Oh yeah, I did get one before, the non-answer of equating me with the people who stand in front of abortion clinics questioning how many people I adopted today. It's unfortunate she didn't know me. She would have smacked herself on her smart little mouth.
