Was Terri thinking about that type of artificial means that would help her when she required something to enable her to swallow? Michael Schiavo concocted the idea of the do not sustain story as soon as he learned she needed this feeding tube. This is not the same type of equipment required to sustain a person on life support, which is what most people think of when they talk about being sustained by artificial means.
