Two remarkable developments took place recently that are extremely relevant to students of Bible prophecy.
For the first time in 1,600 years, the Israeli Sanhedrin was re-established. It occurred in Tiberius, the site of the Sanhedrin's last meeting in AD 425.

Still haven't quite had anyone answer how the heck Hal Lindsey still gets paid for writing when he's been a complete failure his entire professional life.

What do you mean? How is he a complete failure?
"Still haven't quite had anyone answer how the heck Hal Lindsey still gets paid for writing when he's been a complete failure his entire professional life."
I watched his show last night, about this subject. I really don't like his obsession with politics, war and religion mixing, but he's very informative, intelligent and articulate.
"If the Ethiopians really do have the Ark, would they really need to rebuild the Temple (which would involve knocking down the Dome of the Rock, which would trigger a war) or could they just put the Ark in a tabernacle?"
Last night, Hal spoke of his support for the theory that the temple was to the side of the dome of the rock. It's a theory with widespread support.
"he's been a complete failure his entire professional life."
Oh I disagree!
He was great on "Barney Miller"!
As a trivia note, the text on the Dome recognizes the virginity of Mary and that Jesus was the Messiah but disputes the fact that Jesus was the Son of God and also the Trinity.
Events are unfolding at the divine pace.
The sooner the better. Allowing this Islamic perversion of all that is Holy, the Dome, to stand in the place of the Temple is unacceptable. I vote to clear the Temple Mount for rebuilding the true Holy Place to God.
War? Islamic satanists have been wageing war against God's people for years. Resisting your attackers is not starting a war, they have already started it. Are we gonna fight or bow?
Has he? Think about it... if he was a successful interpreter of prophesy, we would probably have killed him...
You've just demonstrated profound bombastic ignorance, friend. Hal has been instrumental in the Lord's salvation of many thousands of people, which is most certainly not failure. Indeed, he's a second-generation tool for Christ: for example, he mentored my pastor, who is himself reaching many thousands (both domestically and internationally) effectively for Christ.
I guess I'd request more humility by you before you so viciously and utterly without warrant run down those who God has been--and is--working through. It is always true that those who serve the Lord effectively will suffer for His sake--but woe to those who cause that suffering!
"Biblical Archaeology Review ran an article discussing the conflicting theories about where the Holy of Holies was and based on that information, my bet is right inside the Dome of the Rock, unfortunately.
As a trivia note, the text on the Dome recognizes the virginity of Mary and that Jesus was the Messiah but disputes the fact that Jesus was the Son of God and also the Trinity."
We have to remember that man makes mistakes, and many have been made over the centuries regarding Revelation, etc..having horrendous results. I pray this temple is to the side of the dome.
