The Democrats have a whole new constituency to sign up.

"Disenfranchised", eh? Yes, if you don't vote, you're disenfranchised. By virtue of your own actions. Not voting doesn't invalidate the election results.

If the Sunnis were "disenfranchised", it was self-disenfranchisment. Or, if you want to consider them as disenfranchised in the classical meaning of the word (e.g. someone else removed their right to vote), then the disenfranchisers were their own leaders. They made a calculated decision not to play. Tough cookies. That is part of being in a democracy. It takes some individual initiative to participate. Not voting is a choice. Now live with it.

Never watch "Today" Socialists turn me OFF so I turn them OFF.
50 years of planned brainwashing has paid off for the Democrats. They might yet be able to destroy the United States! Then the world shall witness a new dark age...

The Sunnis are so used to having their own "rulebook" they haven't figured out in the new Iraq they're gonna have to play by the rest of the worlds rules. By the time the next election comes around, hopefully they will have figured that out.

Does this mean that Republicans could make a Democrat victory "illegitimate" by boycotting the election?

I'd love to hear Katie describe this situation.

Katie Couric was born disenfranchised when she was given a giggle instead of a brain.

Oh, no!! They didn't allow black Haitians, Jamaicans or Cubans to vote either? How can the democrats rig an election with so many of their paid supporters being disenfranchised? Where's Jimmy Carter? He can fix this!!
