I'd rather you simply stand in one place, stomp your little feet, and hold your breath till you pass out....then repeat....WAHHHHHH!

1. What are your goals as Republicans?

As a conservative my goal is to stop people like you stealing my money, forcing my religious faith to be subverted by political correctness, to stop dictators from propagating their evil throughout the world (which people like you are no help whatsoever in stopping). Overall the goal is simple - to extend liberty. In that struggle, you're the enemy, the oppressors, the appeasers of tyrants and therefore in league with Satan.

2. Is your goal to make Liberals to leave America?

We don't care. It's rather amusing to watch you squirm as say, Iraqis vote for the first time.

3. If you want us to stay, when does this country go too far to the right?

We're not interested in your definition of "too far to the right". We want to do what is right, and if you don't like it, too bad.

4. If you want us to leave, will the US government pay for our plane tickets?

Get your own bloody tickets. And don't come here to Britain.

Ivan

May I ask what makes you believe that Republicans think about you at all? For example I am a conservative because I believe a set of conservative principles. I do not believe what I do because I am motivated against liberals. I believe it because I feel it is the best form of government. As far as liberals go I don't think about them except that I disagree. There is no master plan. No one sits up nights thinking about how to "get" liberals. I don't care if you stay or go. I simply vote what I believe and act accordingly. You are really very self involved to think all Republicans spend 24-7 thinking about you. It is a very immature, whining, self centered not to mention paranoid attitude. You might want to consider spending less time thinking about yourself. It leads to an unhappy life.

Thanks for putting in to words what I was thinking as I scanned over this.

The_Liberal Person, I've been married to a "New Deal Democrat" ( who Kerry scared so badly, she voted for Bush ) for 20 years, and we get along fine. Our nearest neighbors are a gay couple, and we call them "good neighbors" because they keep to themselves, mind their own business- but they'll help you if you are in a jam.

We used to have another neighbor who sat on his porch after work and smoked dope- he didn't bother me, so I didn't bother him.

We on the right are a lot less scary than some would have you believe- they need a boogey-man to rally their troops. Ya' need to get out more among real people.

It would be an education for the Gulag denyers, certainly. The remains of the Gulag are all over there.

I can see by your lack of follow-through on this thread that you're not really interested in a civil communication. I can also tell by your questions that you're not so inclined.

The only question that merits a response, or ties into your stated goal of opening a dialog is the first one, and if you were actually interested in understanding and communicating with conservatives, you'd already know the answer, and therefore not need to ask it.

The remaining three questions are indicative of your entire mindset and are directly related to being a Liberal: What are you doing to me? How much more are you going to do it to me? And most classic of all: Will you pay for my solution, which ultimately doesn't help anyone but me?

The entire conversation is therefore moot, because it would be based on concepts that are entirely foreign and mutually exclusive of each other. Our goal (as stated by others more eloquently than I) revolve around personal responsibility and liberty. Yours are centered around a "nanny" state which, by its very nature, precludes personal responsibility and liberty.

As others have stated, it's not our goal to drive Liberals from America. It's not necessary. By your self-centered mindset, you're in the process of doing it to yourself. You're too selfish to think of anyone but yourselves, so you don't tend to have children, aborting yourself into distinction-- much like Europe is doing.

You are, in short, becoming irrelevant.

If you want us to leave, will the US government pay for our plane tickets?

This is – to me – very typical liberal thinking. “The Government” should pay, not realizing that “The Government” is in reality We the People. We would be paying, not some far away separate entity

1. What are your goals as Republicans?

To kill all liberals.

2. Is your goal to make Liberals to leave America?

No. You serve as an important food source.

3. If you want us to stay, when does this country go too far to the right?

When we elect Pat Buchanan for his 12th presidential term.

4. If you want us to leave, will the US government pay for our plane tickets?

No. We want you in tupperware, in our freezers.

Dumbest question, ever. Of course we don't want you to leave. While it might run contrary to your paranoia, a great many of us even served this country so you'd have the right to keep on espousing your liberal beliefs.

For the life of me I don't know why it seems to be so hard for those of you of the liberal mindset to grasp that we can hold differing political views, and not be mortal enemies. This isn't Zimbabwe, this is America. We're political parties, not warring tribes. In short, grow up.

No. You serve as an important food source.

Considering all the tofu they eat, all the pot they smoke and all the baths their more hippie elements don't take, that's a disgusting prospect.

No, the goal is to make liberalism leave America.

I don't even want liberalism to leave America, I just kind of hope it retains it's minority status for the rest of my life. As for liberalism itself, I think it's often a necessary counterpoint, or a neccessary balance. A ying to conservatism's yang.
