I was just kidding, but all things considered, a new handle might be a prudent idea.
Okay, how did I get pinged on this?????
8^)
How does this happen other than someone voluntarily exposing it...
Because there are other sites besides FR where our private correspondence via FReepmail can be made prominent. Say, I send you a FR and tell you a little about my position on certain matters, give you my name, phone number and my email address. Let's also say you and I share some of the same ideas about activism. If I don't really know who you are, you can post my FReepmail on other sites and it gets passed around the net.
I have my blackberry in here.
Don,
Meet me and Karl for coffee Sun morning. Usual place at 5:30 am.

Too many foolish FReepers provide personal info on themselves then get upset when people comment on it.
Gain some common sense. This is the internet for crying out loud.
It's a site that surfs the Internet for you so to keep your identity secret. I sometimes use them when some site shut out traffic from my geographical area.
Here's an easy one:
Big Time,
I'll bring the doughnuts.
DR
"Great list. The only thing I would add is that apparently we need to do the same to them over at DU"
Wouldn't work. They are proud of all the illegal or unsavory tricks they play on the Republicans or the "little people."
How's the fishing?
It sure is nice to be the same person wherever I go...whether it be home, work, church, or online. I don't have to worry about people using my words against me. I'm the same jerk to everyone.
BTTT Thanks Laz, good suggestions.
'found 4 spy programs and 1 key stroke logger'
wow. I once responded to an FR post via freepmail and I did not give my personal email address. Later received a note from the freeper at my personal email address(not Freepmail). I asked the freeper how they knew my email address but never received reply. Have not had any future emails. Hmmm, now wondering....think i'll run a spyware program too. thanks.
Sometimes I get worried about moles from both sides. That is unfortunate that it happened and a good reminder to be careful.
Thanks, Lazamataz for your excellent advice. Although, I'm no one, it is important to know the way in cyberspace.
I agree....it makes you so vulnerable to reveal your true Identity, when giving your honest opinion on Politics, wether you are in a position of Power or not. You can be much more open in what you state, if you are anonomous.
One must also note, that anyone can post in Free Republic, until they are proven to be less than sincere, or disingenious. Even Michael Moore, could post on Free Republic, to gain information...So MOORE..if you are out there....you are a big , fat, no count, dirty, french RAT!
You're not Paris Hilton, are you?
Don't worry--the contents of your Blackberry are safe with me, and about 100,000,000 other users.
