Same thing I asked her. I worked there years ago, and my oldest worked there for 7 years. We WARNED her this place was like that to it's employees. ( it's a MAJOR drug store chain,I don't know if it's allowed to name it).
I could name a few. OK, more than a few. A WHOLE lot more than a few.
We all know about John Kerry and his examples of "moving testimony".
"Instead of barnstorming the country today to gin [sic...or...hic] up support for privatizing Social Security..."
Did Ted Kennedy write this line?
We're going to need a big prison!!
Maybe TerAZah wrote it after a fistful of her cure all raisins.
This is my only reservation to saying Kerry will run again. I would bet the ranch in saying that he WANTS to run again, badly. The thing is, I don't think Mama T wants to open up her purse again. If that weren't a factor, he'd already be back in Iowa. Kerry's ego is just too huge to not want to run again.
If not for the number of people, then simply to hold all of those egos in the building!
Well, I don't think they would last long without an outlet to bash Bush with. They would devour each other. Hmmmmm, that I would pay to watch.
Absolutely not true! We have plenty of people who are uninsured. Medicaid has income caps. People who make too much for that and don't have an employer sponsored plan are often uninsured.
But I think it's a stupid question anyway. The question should be how many don't have access to medical CARE.
The answer to that is almost none. Everyone gets care in life threatening circumstances. And many communities (probably should be more, but I don't know since we don't talk about it) have low cost clinics. I know people who could afford insurance if they really had to, but prefer the convenience of walk-in clinics.
The chain is Rite Aid. This kind of cr@p is done to alot of their workers. The pay scale varies alot too for the same work. My daughter was there for a year at 5.75 when they hired another girl, and 6+ an hour. That girl had no experience, my kid had three years before she started there.
Oh, the sad and tragic irony. Here's Kerry trying to sell this message:
"Let's put children first as long as they're not a burden and the mother "chooses" not to abort them. But after a woman's "right to choose", I swear we'll put children first".
Overlooking his sugar mommy for the moment, the way I figure it, he actually stands a worse chance of getting the nomination next time, even more so because there will be no incumbent. The only reasons he got it lst time was because of his "war hero" record and his "electability" (you know, that "good closer" line we kept hearing until I thought my head was gonna explode)--both of those factors have been debunked.
And add on to that it's going to be an open seat--that'll be mighty tempting to many democrats. They know if they don't go for it, it might be their last, best, and only shot. Kerry already had one bite at the apple; I doubt he'll get another again.
As Pat Daley, the singer, would ask: "Who's yoo Daddy?"
Because that's not a crisis, Senator?
It sounds to me like he's saying "Why is he doing what he's doing instead of doing what I think he should be doing?"
It seems to me that all the candidates the Democratic Party has produced in the past decades have been obsessed with "being president," like it's their turn or it's owed to them.
It's psychotic, IMO.
Well it fits nicely with the general Democrat obsession for power.
