I like when he is in the open and talks to media. He may not be a "great communicator" like Reagan was, but he brings a message across. I like how somebody said about the debates with Kerry, that Kerry was very eloquent and spoke artfully with great debating skills, but you have no idea afterward where he really stands. Bush mingled the words, but somehow you have no doubt where he stands.

One of my biggest concerns about this administration is their neglect of communication, especially in the face of opposing media. Bush is in spotlight now, and everybody will hear the message. Unfortunately it will not persist, and MSM will have a free reign unopposed again.

I don't think the President neglects communication; however, he is intelligent enough to realise the media is largely part of the enemy. He knows that everything he says or does is going to be negatively twisted by them.

That's where the New Media comes in. Taking down Dan Rather was a great victory...the pressure must be sustained.
