The more these Imams speak of their religion the more I realize how impossible it is to defend it. I think moderate Muslims are a myth.

Moderate Muslims do exist. I know some. Reading this, I get the impression that they follow the Quran and not Sharia, since I asked them about several of things that they do that Muslims normally don't and their answer was, "It's not in the Quran." The wife doesn't wear a veil, the eat some foods not normally considered halal, and some even more radical differences.

I've read many versus of the Koran and I encourage everybody I know to do the same.The people who call it a religion of peace are either lying or they never read it.It's impossible to come to that conclusion when most of the book contains threats of death and violence.It singles out Christians and Jews for death and refers to them as less than human on many occasions.I'm willing to take their threats of violence seriously and I hope many others do the same.If Islam doesn't go through some type of transformation that makes it less violent and hateful toward non Muslims it will remain at war forever or until it's destroyed.

As I've stated previously on this site, my definition of a "moderate" muslim is one that is standing in line at the airport with a valid ticket back to their country of origin.

I got some "village idiot" flak back from that tongue-in-cheek statement from some muslims born in this country.
They wanted to know my plan for them.
Well, hopefully you'll be right behind the folks I've already defined...standing in line...waiting to fly back to "wonderful land".

Moderate muslims are the ones that will dance in the streets (like Cairo on 911) but will not sacrifice themselves personally.
