What happens to Terri has significance to all of us, conservatives and liberals:
*We can be slowly and painfully dehydrated to death (although this manner of death is prohibited to the worst of criminals) if we become disabled.
*A person who hates us, publicly abuses us, and has financial interest in our death can be appointed our guardian.
*Authorities will refuse to investigate a possible attempt to kill us.
*Money obtained for our rehabilitation through lawsuits can be used for other people. We can be denied rehabilitation even if we can afford to pay for it.
*There is no one to protect us, at least in certain parts of the country, and many people will cheer for our tormentors.
Exactly. It seems a large majority of Democrats and a significant minority of Republicans favor her starvation and dehydration. Some "Republicans" just note that George W. "Haman" Greer wears an "R" label and therefore assume that he is doing "the right thing"!
