I think a more accurate headline would be: "Taxpaters Foot the Bill for Correcting Democrat Vote Fraud."
Taxpayers are footing the bill for corruption in registering, voting and counting.
Well then, the taxpayers need to be angry at the democrats for forcing the republicans to take up precious resorces to stop the democrats from hijacking yet another elected position. The dems could save the taxpayers a bundle just by admitting that they steal, cheat, lie, forge, f**k, hide & deal.
(Blush)
Yup. It costs to much money to investigate democratic voter fraud. Must be wasteful like that. /sarcasm off.

Gee.. Did I miss the part of the article where they accounted for how much it cost to continue counting ballots over and over again until the Democrats won?
Why not use a Liberal tactic, i.e., have the public pay your bills?
Truth is too expensive!
WHERE WAS THE HEADLINE ABOUT THE $750,000 THE TAXPAYERS HAD TO PAY FOR THE 3RD FRADULENT RECOUNT!!
Whether the AP selectively cares about anything is always and only based on it's impact on their precious Democrats.
"The election challenge will eventually be decided by the state Supreme Court. Whatever happens, counties don't have much hope of getting their money back."
They ought to sue the crook RATS that stole the election in the first place. They also ought to sue each and every double voter, and anyone else who voted fraudulently.
How come we never heard about the cost to tax payers when Al Gore was filing his law suits?
Maybe they won't be as eager to follow the Democrats down this path next time.

Bingo. This article conveniently omits the money spent on manufacturing Gregoire's fraudulent victory, which was charged to the taxpayers.
Meanwhile, after finding some Indian (Native American to the PC inclined) bones and stuff near a construction site on the Hood Canal, the state is dumping a 55 million dollar site and moving. I have not heard the left scream about that.
