She is moving to the right and trying to distance herself from the far left of her party of which, in reality, she is a charter member. She's been taking a stance on stopping illegal immigration and she voted for Rice when the left wing loonies voted against the Secretary of State.

Of course she will run as a Democrat, but she wants to run as a moderate Democrat.
