Are the Public Defender and DA's offices General Fund Departments?
Lately, there have been the increase of people who bitterly complain that they can not going anywhere and completely stuck. Economy is really bad and social situation is far from stable. Anxiety level is high. Suicide rate skyrocketed.
Most popular solution they talk about is to immigrate to "better" country. Many of these people are young, and tend to be anti-American at home. Still, they have almost blind faith that "America" is better place to live. Even hardcore anti-American and pro-N. Korea lefties bail to America when things gets too hot socially or politically.
Yeah, they still love their "genius" president Roh Moo-hyun, too.
To these people, America is a unrealistic abstraction, which can be a bountiful land of promise or a land of imperialist brutes. Depending on the situation, they take the one and ignore the other. America can be a pretty convenient thing.
In short, they are examples of the effectiveness of public school and media brainwashing.
"The key word here is blackwhite. ...Applied to an opponent, it means the habit of impudently claiming that black is white, in contradiction to the plain facts. Applied to a Party [agent, vassal, or unwitting gamesman], it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary...." - from 1984 by George Orwell
Thanks for the good information. I've read that they are paying 50 to 100thousand each to get here. HOW do they get that kind of money?
How very appropriate at this very moment in time!
It's killing small counties. How do they survive this? You should read about Canyon County Idaho and Commissioner Morganelli.

Morganelli's fight against illegal immigrants heats up (PAC to Support Anti-Amnesty Candidates)

John M. Morganelli has gone global with his fight against illegal immigrants, drawing criticism from immigrant advocates.
Northampton County's outspoken district attorney recently formed an Internet political action committee, with which he hopes to support like-minded candidates for political office.
The Web address for Us Securing America PAC is http://www.usapac.us . Morganelli said he registered the site a few weeks ago.
''Hopefully, if it catches on, we'll be able to support candidates'' who are concerned about the growing number of illegal immigrants in the country, he said. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1294468/posts
They've been in Oregon for years.
The DNC and the mediots will assure that they get their periodic "two minutes of hate," else they might get a bit strung out. ;-)
Well, I guess we need to have about a 100 or even 1000 fold increase in VERY WELL ARMED "backcountry hunters" then. Shall we?
RE: In places such as Santa Clara County where hundreds of marijuana plants were recently discovered tucked away in Joseph Grant County Park near the foothills of East San Jose.
Being very specific, I'd say we need to have a massive "wild boar" hunt at Grant. If you know what I mean .... (!)
"Straight outta .... Malibu ... "
"Norte Os" sounds like a cereal. I assume you mean "norteños," which would refer to people from northern Mexico. I don't know jack about street gangs, much less Mexican street gangs in California, but from what you posted they sound like bad news.
Indeed I do. Just got a call the other night from my cousin near Houston (BTW, he has quite a different view of Houston than "some" people we know!). He had some very good hunts this year. Also uses some sweet traps.
I'm lucky, I don't know much about gangs either, and wouldn't know if one was spelled correctly.
It's interesting how they evolve though. First you see the graffiti in your town and go, "WTH was that? And we start just painting over them, community effort, you know. Then there is too many to cover up anymore, then they come out right in your face and let you know there's nothing you can do about it.
It took my hometown about 15 years before we realized we had allowed Tijuana to occur and had nothing but PC lawmakers/enforcers who could care less. It didn't really dawn on any of us, I don't think, we had nothing to judge such a thing. The Americans who were of Mexican heritage in my hometown were my neighbors and friends, as much a part of our community as anyone born there. No one ever thought twice about those good people being a problem. What was saddest is that the illegals seemed to "migrate" to any area with hispanics, usually uninvited.
It destroyed neighborhood after neighborhood, like a slum cancer. One Mexican American friend kept building his fence higher and higher 'cause he couldn't keep the illegals out of his yard. I left the area and haven't seen him in a few years, I'm sure he moved by now. I'm sure he took a loss on what was once a NICE neighborhood. I hate to see the backlash hit Mexican Americans. They lose the most in this entire mess.
Curiosly in such cities, the property value and taxes increase to accomodate the influx of new "migrants". When you bail out of a neighborhood because it has turned into a barrio, you lose, but just try to find something you can afford in the same town. Good luck.
One has to be careful who they invite into their home. That's a lesson this country better learn quick.
For later BTTT
Aired tonight;
LOU DOBBS/CNN
PILGRIM: The president's proposal was critiqued by Representative James Sensenbrenner, who says it lacks detail. Sensenbrenner's own plan toughens standards for issuing driver's licenses to what he calls foreign visitors; aliens must prove that they are here lawfully; the license would expire when their visa does; and the bill also calls for closing a three-mile hole in the U.S.- Mexican border fence.
REP. JAMES SENSENBRENNER (R), CHAIRMAN, JUDICIARY COMMITTEE: American citizens have a right to know who is in their country, that people are who they say they are and that the name on the driver's license is the real holder's name, not some alias.
PILGRIM: Sensenbrenner pointed out that Mohammad Atta, a 9/11 terrorist, received a six-month visa to stay in the United States, yet received a Florida driver's license good for six years. The Sensenbrenner proposal already has political battle scars when it originally was part of the intelligence bill last December.
Today, attacked by Democrats on the hill, Congresswoman Jane Harman today issued a statement saying the laws call for states to provide tamper-proof driver's licenses. She said the Sensenbrenner proposal will not make Americans safer. She also criticized President Bush for not demanding full funding for 10,000 border guards called for in the intelligence reform bill.
Sensenbrenner today rallied against that attack saying the current bill is bipartisan with 115 co-sponsors.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
PILGRIM: The Sensenbrenner bill also takes issue with the system where immigrants seek asylum. He says it's abused by terrorists, and he wants to allow immigration judges to determine the credibility in asylum cases so terrorists cannot get into the country on false pretexts -- Lou.
DOBBS: You know, we've reached a great point in this country, when there is a debate even over whether or not people who are not citizens of this country can receive a driver's license, let alone whether they're illegal or not, and the very idea that a president could be talking about immigration reform, but his Homeland Security secretary is saying, well, we can't really be bothered with adding another 2,000 Border Patrol agents to 2,000- or 3,000-mile the border.
PILGRIM: The good part of this is everyone is calling attention to it as much as they can, and it's very, very visible now, the gaps in the system -- Lou.
DOBBS: And our sense of absurdity is being overwhelmed, as it often is in Washington, D.C., and, hopefully, a few people's sense of alarm as well.
That brings us to the subject of our poll tonight: Do you support Congressman Sensenbrenner's bill to stop illegal aliens and potential terrorists from obtaining driver's licenses in this country? Yes or no. We ask that you vote at loudobbs.com. We'll have the results for you later in the broadcast.
