I recently spent five months in Jacksonville getting the liver transplant that saved my life from the best hospital and group of docs there are, the Mayo clinic. I waited 2 1/2 YEARS in Atlanta to no avail and I got my transplant after a TWELVE DAY wait here. Also Emory told me a lesion on my liver was benign and it was magnlignant. Mayo saved my life. St. Luke's has a fantastic transplant program, unbelievable doctors and nurses.

We enjoyed the area tremendously. Practically no traffic on the worst day compared to Atlanta (!) nice people, reasonable costs of everything, even real estate if you aren't right on the beach. Beach close, St. Augustine close, Orlando, you name it. I loved it and considered myslef fortunate I wasn't in Minnesota or some place like that. It might get cold but it stayed warm in the high 70's right through December!

I love St. Luke's Hospital. It is positively a gem.
