Thank You Liberals! By Robin Mullins Boyd January 24, 2005

What a month this has been! Just this week, we had the Confirmation hearings and the Inauguration. In the spirit of the week, I would like to extend my hand to the members of the Left and offer my thanks.

Thank you first to Senator John Kerry. Thank you for demonstrating your true character when you attacked Condi Rice with reruns of your campaign statements. Thank you for voting against Rice's confirmation in your own mean-spirited show of poor losership.

Thank you Senator Barbara Boxer. I did not think it was possible to lower your standing in the nation after you gave your tearful "stolen votes" speech 2 weeks ago. Your hate-filled diatribe at Condi Rice was a new low. Thank you for calling Rice and the entire Bush administration liars in front of the entire world.

Thank you Dan Rather and CBS. Your obvious lack of regret at violating the unwritten laws of journalism was appalling. The shameless attempt to throw the election to John Kerry will go down as one of the most despicable acts in journalism.

Thank you Senator Ted Kennedy. I am always amazed at the hypocrisy that spews from your mouth. Having you lecture the American public on moral values is like Michael Moore giving a lecture on truth in filmmaking or the dangers of obesity.

Thank you to Sgt. Kevin Benderman and your supporters. You are a perfect role model for cowards. It's one thing to oppose the war but it's something completely different to refuse to perform the job you willingly signed up for. Having your op-ed piece published on Al-Jazeerah online was icing on the cake. I am sure that the soldiers in your unit that are now fighting in Iraq would like to thank you personally for fanning the flames of hatred towards America.

Thank you members of Code Pink. What a wonderful generous gesture it was for you to give the "other side" in Fallujah $600,000 to buy medication. I am sure that the money will go a long way to supporting those fighting against your own countrymen.

Thank you Ramsey Clark. It was enough that you helped set up the Dan Rather interview with your friend, Saddam Hussein. But then you had to outdo yourself by signing on as a member of Saddam's legal team. Imagine that - a former Attorney General of the United States representing a man that would destroy the USA if given a chance. I hope that Milosevic does not mind you splitting your representation time between him and Saddam.

Thank you protestors at the Inauguration. It was wonderful to see your display of feelings toward your country. The snowball throwing at Dick Cheney's limo was such a cute fun loving touch. The image of you burning the American Flag will always be deep in my heart.

Thank you to the liberal bloggers and message board trolls. Your comments about our country, our President and our soldiers were unbelievable. It took a lot of guts to write articles about your hopes of us losing the war in Iraq. I can not imagine how you struggled morally when you wrote that our soldiers were murderers and deserved to be killed. Since I live in a military town and have several friends serving overseas, those articles really touched my soul.

All of you above and your comrades on the Left should be proud of all that you have achieved. As a member of the Republican Party, I owe you a debt of gratitude. I could not have asked for a better recruiting tool for the GOP than you all. Here's hoping that you continue your work to make the Republican Party stronger for future elections.

Anyone like to add additional people that we owe thanks to?

There are plenty of people but I think we give the Left too much credit. They do a better job of repelling people from them than we could ever hope to do.

Bill Clinton with his anything goes mentality was actually a
great recruiter for the Republican party.

They can all be thanked for demonstrating what the Americans in uniform everywhere and always have fought and died to assure them. They are assured the right to make perfect fools of themselves and to dishonor the men/women who sacrifice for their right to do so. If we had to hire idiots to do this for us, I don't know how we could succeed so well as you have. ..and I don't think we could afford it. Thanks again for doing it so well and for free.

Thank you to Arlen Spector for continuing to stab his Party in the back. We knew all along you would would do it. But doing it so soon and so openly after your installation as Judiciary Chairman has allowed the rest of us who opposed you to observe once again at the start of the Senate session what a bunch of spineless wimps we have representing us in the Senate. Now, this way, we have no illusions about how "well" Bush's judicial nominations will fare. The obvious answer is "they won't". That keeps our stomach ulcers from getting quite so bloody as they normally would watching you cave in to the minority Democrats!

Thank you Jesse Jackson for showing us that the only people who were disenfranchised in Ohio were the people that the DNC appointed election board decided to disenfranchise.

And thanks for not shouting election FRAUD in Wisconsin, Pennsy, Michigan and that small governors race in Washington. It showed us your true colors.

Sad but true.
It's really been this past election that's made me lose faith in the left. Between their constant defense of terrorism and misplaced priorities I've really had to to step back and rethink things.

John Kerry seems to be intent on burying the dems for good with this "hater world tour" thing he was on. Making public trips to France and Syria? Acting bitter towards Condi? This stuff is like the icing on the "never vote for us again" cake. What are they thinking??

Thank you John Kerry for basing your campaign on your Vietnam service. Most of the voting public is old enough to remember what you actually did versus what you claimed.

Let's not forget to thank Robert Byrd (D-KKK) for continuing to prove Democrats are the party of racism.

I musta missed this. What'd the Ole Sheet say this time?

Certainly the media would be jumping up and down if Trent Lott pulled this krap on a Democrat nominee, but do we really have enough evidence to be playing the race card on this one?

I really want to know because i feel very uncomfortable using plays from the RAT playbook.

Only now that they have the Black bloc firmly on their "plantation" do Dems claim to champion minority rights...of course, with the attendant condescending attitude that minorities "need" them in order to gain anything. It's really inexcusable.

Agreed. However, we have evidence that the black bloc is moving away from the RATS. And i think this is due to the speed at which info is exchanged in forums such as FR. It's monumental in importance wrt changing the political tide. I am sure the RAT party leadership is aware of this, yet they haven't yet found a way to stop this fast info exchange or to take advantage of it.

Yes .. Byrd is doing it to get back at Bush .. but he's not noticing that he's a former KKK person - and Dr. Rice is a black person .. AMERICA WILL BE LIVID.

How about Charles Schumer - he believes we "unenlightened" people shouldn't own guns. Never mind the fact that he has armed bodyguards.
