Exactly. They believe so much in their rightness (and righteousness) that they don't even bother to check their facts... or much else for that matter. As long as you're on their side you can be as treacherous, inconsistent, dishonest, hypocritical as needed to advance the cause. What's the cause? I don't think they even know anymore.
