Frankly I don't get it. We just signed on to a program that will cost trillions (the medication addition to Medicare), and now we're supposed to be worried about rising costs?

Whew!

my disabled adult dtr who lives with us will be forced to become a full ward of the state, housing, medical, and all if she loses her Medicaid benefits.....

at least now, we carry the burden of her housing and her food and other things....

I'll tell you the reason all these outrageous benefits are being given the senior population....

its because they have a strong lobby and they vote strictly on all the goodies they can grab.....

there is such a disparity in this country on who gets what and how much etc...

I heard a stat once that for every $1 dollar spent on kids we spend $10 on a senior....

perhaps if we pulled back on a few of the bennies that seniors get we could afford to let others live a tiny bit better...

for instance....they need to pay something everytime they go to a doctor or a hospital...even if its just a pittance....

they need to be restrained just like any other person on a medical plan that just can't run in and get every test in the book because they don't pay for it.....

the politicians are all the same ....they want to give endlessly to the teachers and to the seniors.......
