I mean really. Who cannot understand what the Prez was saying in his inaugural speech. It was pure poetry in speech, even if GWB doesn't have a speaking flair.
I've lost all admiration for Noonan, who obviously thinks it rank or insulting to mention the Almighty, or to set our goals high.

Really. Methinks Noonan has been hanging out with too many snootish bigwigs lately.
My first response to this was to think: Contemptible! Peggy, "you're such a silly woman! Put de lime in de coconut an' drink 'em bot' up!" But, it has been observed that "in politics, things always happen for a reason." The thing was caculated and calibrated - the question is, why?
