55th Inauguration And Day's Events - Live Thread
Didn't he have to sit next to her at Pres. Reagan's funeral? I think they are assigned seats based on when they held office.
No, that's after the ceremony.
Beautiful....and beautifully sung.
FreeRepublic is the next best place to be if I can't be there on the platform w/President Bush. God bless him and all of you for this GREAT DAY.
They all seem to have their own cameras. I'm sticking with Fox, 'cause I ain't listening to NO liberals telling me what's going on today!
My heart is so full today. I believe this is going to be the most important inauguration in history. God bless President Bush and God bless America!!
Thanks, I'm gonna need it. I'm crying so much right now that if I were there, within camera's view, the networks would think I'm a Kerry supporter who just can't stand to see Bush in there.
Hardly. If the Bush guys are weepers, I got em all beat. I cried the whole time through that prayer. With the soprano singing, I'm crying again. At least they are tears of joy, and thankfulness to God that he has granted our prayers for another four years.
When does Kid Rock sing? Granted he's a foul-mouthed kinda guy, but there is NO questioning his patriotism. For that, he gets my respect. That and I'm an old school metalhead. :)
I think E.D. Hill qualifies for invocation of the 'Ann Coulter Rule' (posting of any babe mentioned requires a pic)
Oh bee haaave.
So, who should sing at our inauguration? I was thinking Charlie Daniels.
I have Champagne cooling in the refrigerator for tonight!
Just jumping in where I can. Caught the Inauguration and did a bit of channel surfing. CBS and ABC suck. Fox was great as always.
The Left just doesn't get it. W. won!
Chris Dodd??
Yes, it would be awsome. Even if I couldn't sing (and I can't) but just to be asked.
Dodd, what a pompous jerk!
Muted applause for Dodd.
His old standard, "Kiss My Ass (All You Liberals)", comes to mind.

What cracked me up is that Jeb Bush has a disposable camera.
LOL. I forgot about that. The Thing That Wouldn't Leave--and the presstitutes held on as long as they could. Remember too his address to the nation where the nets reluctantly let him speak? "Sure had fun" was the theme. Here is hoping Karma comes back to Clinton and his 'wife' in a big way....
