You're absolutely correct, but you will be flammed for saying this.

Bush is our President and I took tomorrow off to celebrate that very fact.I have taken the day off too. The President is a once in a lifetime leader and I want to enjoy history in the making.

Anyone who doesn't like Laura's dress should do a Getty search on Clinton's inaugurals and look at what Hillary was wearing. Awful.

I'm more unhappy about the vile and disgusting "hook em" sign Jenna is making. It's a sickness.

The dress may be appropriate,in that it covers her and is a ball gown, but the fabric is not only hideous, but out of style and a terrible color. The drawings of the dress Laura will wear tomorrow, don't bode well for your supposition of "elegance".

Yep, Jenna is looking pretty hot in these pics. Barbara looks much better with her hair down.

AS is Arnold Schwarzenegger?YUP.
Also if you look at W's arms they don't rest against his ribs, they "float" away from them. That's caused by very well developed lats. We used to call it ice in the arm pits when I was a kid.
Most body builders actually walk the way W does. AS is similar. It's not strutting, it's walking like a body builder. (although calling it "walking in Texas" is a funnier line)

I'm just like you. We have all kinds of "stuff" to deal with in life. I want to witness Mr. Bush being inagurated. I love Mr. Bush!

I have to respectfully disagree. And I won't make a judgment on tomorrow's dress until I see her wearing it.

I LOVE Laura's dress. It looks almost casual with the shirtdress cut and the 3/4 length sleeves, but that iridescent fabric along with the 'bustle' in the back give it a formal feel.

we can forgive Jenna tonight. Besides, W mentioned our Fighting Texas Aggies, and tomorrow the Ross Volunteers will be there.

"...but on a pure fashion note, 3 out of the 4 women were strikeouts. Only Lynn Cheney looked elegant."I think the twins look great (Jenna always looks like she's having a blast) and the First Lady is dressed appropriately for the theme of the ball. However, when I scrolled down to the photo of Lynn Cheney, I realized that's the dress I would wear. She does indeed look elegant.
