Most are no, but I know if I weren't allowed to sleep I'd feel tortured. Ask anyone who's been through BMT, they'll likely agree.
Would I cry a tear over it being done to a murderer or terrorist to get information? Not likely, but I will concede that it can be physically and psychologically painful.
Agree. I can stay awake for 24 hours but sometime beyond that severe fatigue arrives and it isn't pleasant.
