"So you are stating that this case is completely over?"

Where did you get that from my statement? Making things up?

Well, $6 million divided 46 ways ... I hope it's over. (Then again, $6 million buys a lot of drugs.)

Furthermore, I hope that neighborhood of Tulia reverts back to the drug infested rat-hole sewer that it was, and law enforcement ignores all pleas for assistance in cleaning it up.

Of course, if I'm wrong and there never were any drugs in that neighborhood, then everyone will simply go back to living their lives in peace and quiet. Won't they, Lazamataz?

Unnecessarily contentious; furthermore, you seem to be hoping for bad outcomes for a given neighborhood.

I remember why I didn't bother posting to you all these years -- thanks for the reminder.

If there was nothing to the claim that this Coleman guy set people up, then why were people awarded this 6 million dollars?

I cant' believe you take up for this guy. I don't doubt he was setting up many who were dealing, but dishonest creeps like this are also going to get innocent people sometimes. And you think it's such a big deal that so many pled guilty? People plead guilty all the time to things the claim they didn't do. Most of them are lying, but not always. Their lawyers were probably trying to get all of them to plead, telling them that how juries would believe the white guy with a badge over them, and that if convicted by the jury they could do a whole lot more time than if they just took the plea offer. Most people are afraid of going to trial on criminal cases, especially if they are facing potentially long sentences. It's a roll of the dice some people just won't take whether they did what they were accused of doing or not, especially if their offer is probation or some short prison stint and if the case goes to trial and the jury believes the guy with the badge they could spend a major portion of their lives behind bars.

You could care less if innocent people go to prison though, could you? It's worth it to you as long as some drug dealers go down. And of course, these people were black and you've made it plain before how you feel about black people.
