I am expecting a Linda Blair response from the Libs over this one. Get your Holy Water ready.
I was talking about them probing the President.
The left prefers nuance (as in blowing in the wind or standing for nothing or standing for what temporarily may be popular), no wonder they hate him.
He runs circles around them while they fret.
God Bless him.
Had the doctrines of Jesus been preached always as pure as they came from his lips, the whole civilized world would now have been Christians. - Thomas Jefferson
If Christians would really live the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today. - Mohandas Gandhi
The Bible is the cornerstone of Liberty. - Thomas Jefferson
It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible. - George Washington
It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a Bible-reading people. The principles of the Bible are the groundwork of human freedom. - Horace Greeley
A Theology is the effort to explain the unknowable in terms of the not worth knowing. - H.L. Mencken
Theology is an attempt to explain a subject by men who do not understand it. The intent is not to tell the truth but to satisfy the questioner. - Elbert Hubbard
I have only a small flickering light to guide me in the darkness of a thick forest. Up comes a theologian and blows it out. - Denis Diderot
Hey! I have that shirt! I get some strange looks sometimes. ;-)
Thanks
GO BUSH!! He says what others are afraid to say, women have no place in combat!
No, it's a statement of fact. And all the atheist-bashing and Bible-thumping in the world won't change that fact.
I voted for him and believe he is doing the right thing about the war we are in.
But he is no Ronald Reagan, and he makes me dislike him when he does his Rockefeller/Javits/Pataki schtick, as well as his Jerry Falwell/Pat Robertson/Charles Colson schtick.
He has had wonderful speech writers and wonderful advisers who have guided him in wonderful ways. And his instincts on defense issues have been wonderful.
But no intelligent man says what he said here, if that is what he said.
Folks may not always agree with George w. Bush, but he is convicted, and has the courage of a lion.
That scares the libs TO DEATH.
What if you're wrong?
"After the Declaration of Independence was signed, Virginia statesman John Page wrote to Thomas Jefferson: ``We know the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong. Do you not think an angel rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm?''
Much time has passed since Jefferson arrived for his inauguration. The years and changes accumulate. But the themes of this day he would know: our nation's grand story of courage and its simple dream of dignity.
We are not this story's author, who fills time and eternity with his purpose. Yet his purpose is achieved in our duty, and our duty is fulfilled in service to one another.
Never tiring, never yielding, never finishing, we renew that purpose today, to make our country more just and generous, to affirm the dignity of our lives and every life.
This work continues. This story goes on. And an angel still rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm.
God bless you all, and God bless America.George W. Bush January 20th, 2001
Huh?? You are "clearly" are p*ssing in the wind.
What exactly is the "frequency" of your Mother Ship?
Michael Newdow.... is that you?
With a daffy statement like this, I'm going to assume there an empty 12-pack case sitting besides your PC.
Pshaw!
"Check this out" ping.
Dear One, you have that reversed, I Believe. He doesn't. Hence I asked him, What if you're wrong?
The fool said in his heart "There is no God".
