What bothers me is that so many people here just seemed to think this thing was OK, without really finding out what it is.
It's a whip. It even has a "cushioned handle" for the user's comfort. While a spanking may be necessary from time to time, getting whipped by this ugly tool is not.
Given the diameter of it, I guarantee that it would leave nasty welts on the child's skin. I know one thing for sure: If I ever saw someone using "the Rod" on a child, that person would have to use it on me next, because I'd take it from them immediately.
A spanking's one thing. Whipping a child with this purpose-built whip is another thing altogether.
To the rest on the thread: Sorry, all you spanking fans. Did you all look at this thing? Are you still in favor of it?
